Application of ceramic bearings

Zirconia

All ceramic bearings have the characteristics of anti magnetoelectric insulation, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, oil-free self lubrication, high temperature resistance, high cold resistance and so on. They can be used in extremely harsh environments and special working conditions. The ferrule and rolling element are made of zirconia (ZrO2) ceramic material. The retainer uses polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as the standard configuration. General glass fiber reinforced nylon 66 (rpa66-25), special engineering plastics (PEEK, PI), stainless steel (aisisus316), brass (Cu), etc.

Silicon nitride

Silicon nitride all ceramic bearing rings and rolling elements are made of silicon nitride (Si3N4) ceramic materials. Generally, rpa66-25, peek, PI and phenolic cloth bakelite pipes can also be used. Compared with ZrO2 material made of SiN4 all ceramic bearing, it is suitable for higher speed and load capacity, as well as higher ambient temperature. At the same time, it can provide precision ceramic bearings for high-speed, high-precision and high rigid spindles, with higher manufacturing accuracy, up to P4 to up.

Full ball

There is a ball gap on one side of the fully filled ball type all ceramic bearing. Due to the cage free design, compared with the standard structural bearing, it can carry more ceramic balls, which improves the bearing capacity and avoids the limitation of cage material., It can achieve the effect of corrosion resistance and temperature resistance of ceramic cage type all ceramic bearings. This series of bearings are not suitable for higher speeds. When installing, pay attention to install the notch face at the end that does not bear axial load.

blend

Ceramic balls, especially silicon nitride balls, have the characteristics of low density, high hardness, low friction coefficient, wear resistance, self lubrication and good rigidity. They are especially suitable for high-speed, high-precision and long-life hybrid ceramic ball bearings (inner and outer rings are metal). Generally, the inner and outer rings are made of bearing steel (GCr15) or stainless steel (aisi440c), and the ceramic balls can be made of ZrO2, Si3N4 or SiC.

Main meaning

Ceramic bearings have the characteristics of high temperature resistance, cold resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, magnetoelectric insulation, oil-free self lubrication, high speed and so on. It can be used in extremely harsh environments and special working conditions. It can be widely used in aviation, aerospace, navigation, petroleum, chemical industry, automobile, electronic equipment, metallurgy, electric power, textile, water pump, medical equipment, scientific research and national defense military industry. The rings and rolling elements of ceramic bearings are made of all ceramic materials, including zirconia (ZrO2), silicon nitride (Si3N4) and silicon carbide (SIC). The cage is made of polytetrafluoroethylene, nylon 66, polyetherimide, zirconia, silicon nitride, stainless steel or special aviation aluminum, thus expanding the application field of ceramic bearings.

Use classification

(1) High speed bearing: it has the advantages of cold resistance, low stress elasticity, high pressure resistance, poor thermal conductivity, light weight and low friction coefficient. It can be applied to 12000 RPM high-speed spindle - 75000 RPM in high-precision equipment;


(2) High temperature bearing: the material itself can withstand high temperature of 1200 ℃, and has good self lubrication. The service temperature will not expand due to the temperature difference between 100 ° C and 800 ° C. It can be used in furnaces, plastics, steel and other high-temperature equipment;


(3) Corrosion resistant bearing: the material itself has corrosion resistance characteristics and can be used in fields such as strong acid, strong alkali, inorganic matter, organic salt, seawater, etc., such as electroplating equipment, electronic equipment, chemical machinery, shipbuilding, medical equipment, etc.


(4) Antimagnetic bearing: because it is non-magnetic and does not absorb dust, it can reduce the peeling of the bearing surface and reduce the running noise. It can be used for demagnetization equipment. Precision instruments and other fields.


(5) Electrically insulated bearing: due to its high resistivity, the bearing is not damaged by electric arc, and can be used for all kinds of electrical equipment that need insulation.


(6) Vacuum bearing: due to the unique oil-free self-lubricating characteristics of ceramic materials, the problem that ordinary bearings cannot be lubricated can be overcome in ultra-high vacuum environment. Note: to
