How to check if the imported bearing lubricating grease is moldy
How to check if the imported bearing lubricating grease is moldy
1. Sunlight irradiation method
In a sunny life, use a screwdriver to remove grease and fly to 45 degrees. Compared to the sun, when observing the condition of the droplets, it is clear that there are no debris in the lubricating grease under the sun, which can exert the effect again. When there are too many debris, the lubricating grease must be replaced.
2. Droplet imprinting method
Take a clean white filter paper with a few drops of oil leaking from it. If there is a black powder on the surface after the oil leaks, it will feel resistant when in contact with hands. This indicates that there is a lot of residue in the oil, there is no powder in the oil, it is dry and clean, and the imprint is light yellow.
3. Oil discharge observation
Take two beakers, one filled with grease for inspection, and the other empty on the table. Remove the beaker containing oil from the tabletop by 30 to 40 centimeters and tilt it to allow oil to flow into the empty cup and observe its fluidity. Lubricating grease with high performance to price ratio is longer, thinner, more uniform, and continuous. If the oil is discharged quickly and slowly, it is said that the oil is moldy.
4. Hand twisting method
Screw grease between thumb and Ring finger, and grind continuously. The grease has a good hand feel, good wettability, minimal wear debris, and no friction. If you feel a lot of friction in the middle of your fingers like sand particles, it indicates that there is a lot of residue in the oil and cannot be reused. Replace with new lubricating grease.
