New Products of China Aerospace Bearings
Recently, Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of "Excellent Supplier" by China's commercial aerospace high-tech enterprise Space Pioneer Science and Technology Co., Ltd., which is recognition of its outstanding contribution to the first flight mission of "Tianlong II".
The "Tianlong II" Yaoyi carrier rocket was successfully launched in April this year. The rocket was developed by Space Pioneer for three years. This successful first flight means that China's Private spaceflight enterprises have the ability to launch liquid rockets into orbit, and have created a number of aerospace records, effectively promoting the great leap of China's coal based aerospace kerosene from development to engineering application.
"Tianlong II" is a Medium-lift launch vehicle whose design objectives include low cost, high reliability and reusable. This puts forward strict requirements for lightweight, low-cost, and rapid development by the Axis Research Institute.
After receiving the task, Axis Research Institute quickly responded and established an integrated team for research, development, manufacturing, and testing. They participated in the entire process of developing bearing plans for the "Tianlong 2" rocket engine, engineering prototype testing, and bearing bench testing. With deep accumulation in various professional fields such as bearing materials, design, processing, and lubrication, the Shaft Research Institute has successfully developed and produced multiple types of bearings and components, which meet the requirements of special working conditions such as ultra-low temperature and no lubrication, providing strong support for the first flight of the "Tianlong 2".
Obtaining the title of "Excellent Supplier" of Space Pioneer once again proves the important position of AXIS in China's commercial aerospace field. In addition, the recently successfully launched private rocket "Zhuque 2" has also applied bearing products specifically developed by the Axis Research Institute for liquid oxygen methane propellant, which has driven China's carrier rockets to make significant breakthroughs in the application of new low-cost liquid propellants.
As a major supporting unit in the field of aviation and aerospace in China, Axis Research Institute will continue to fulfill its mission of "forging the director of Axis Research Institute to serve the needs of the country", committed to independent research and development of high-end bearings, solving the problems of key basic components, continuously improving product quality and service quality, and continuously assisting the rapid development of commercial aerospace in China.
