The usage characteristics of deep groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings, and thrust ball bearings
1. Deep groove ball bearing
Features: Deep groove ball bearings are the most representative rolling bearings with a wide range of applications. Can withstand radial and bidirectional axial loads, suitable for occasions requiring low noise, high-speed rotation, and low vibration. Sealed bearings with steel plate dust covers or rubber sealing rings are pre filled with an appropriate amount of lubricating grease. Bearings with stop rings or flanges on the outer ring are easy to locate axially and facilitate installation inside the casing. The size of the maximum load type bearing is the same as that of the standard bearing, but there is a filling groove on the inner and outer rings, which increases the number of balls installed and the rated load.
Main applicable cages: steel plate stamped cages (waveform, crown shaped... single row; S-shaped... double row), copper alloy or phenolic resin cut cages, synthetic resin formed cages.
Main use: Automotive: rear wheels, transmission, electrical device components.
Electrical: General electric motors, household appliances.
Other: instruments, internal combustion engines, construction machinery, railway vehicles, loading and unloading machinery, agricultural machinery, and various industrial machinery.

2. Angular contact ball bearing
Features: There is a contact angle between the ferrule and the ball, with standard contact angles of 15 °, 30 °, and 40 °. The smaller the contact angle, the more favorable it is for high-speed rotation. The larger the contact angle, the greater the axial load capacity. Single row bearings can withstand radial and unidirectional axial loads, while DB combination, DF combination, and double row bearings can withstand radial and bidirectional axial loads. DT combination is suitable for situations where unidirectional axial loads are large and the rated load of a single bearing is insufficient. ACH type bearings with small ball diameters and multiple ball numbers are mostly used for machine tool spindles. Angular contact ball bearings are suitable for high-speed and high-precision rotation, Structurally, two single row angular contact ball bearings with a back combination share the inner and outer rings, which can withstand radial and bidirectional axial loads. There are also sealed bearings without filling grooves.
Main applicable cages: steel plate stamped cages (bowl shaped... single row; S-shaped, crown shaped... double row), copper alloy or phenolic resin cut cages, synthetic resin formed cages.
Main use: single column: machine tool spindle, high-frequency motor, gas turbine, centrifugal separator, small car front wheel, differential pinion shaft.
Dual column: oil pump, Roots blower, air compressor, various transmissions, fuel injection pump, printing machinery.
3. Thrust ball bearing
Features: It consists of a washer shaped raceway ring with raceways, a ball, and a cage component. The raceway ring that fits with the shaft is called the shaft ring, and the raceway ring that fits with the shell is called the seat ring. The bi-directional bearing fits the middle ring with a secret shaft, and the unidirectional bearing can withstand unidirectional axial load, while the bi-directional bearing can withstand bidirectional axial load (neither can withstand radial load).
Main applicable cages: steel plate stamped cages, copper alloy or phenolic resin cut cages, synthetic resin formed cages.
Main uses: automotive steering pins, machine tool spindles.
